Ordained in 1997 by the Most Rev. Vincent Breen, Fr. Guy has served the Diocese of Metuchen in several parishes between 1997 and 2009. In that year he was named Rector of the Shrine of the Blessed Sacrament in Raritan, NJ. In 2015 he was named Administrator of St. Joseph Church in Washington, NJ becoming Pastor there in 2017. He came to St. Mary, Star of the Sea in late August of 2023 and was installed by Bishop James Checchio as the IX Pastor on October 29, 2023. From 1998-2003 he was the Moderator and Host of the diocesan radio program, "Proclaim the Good News". Since 2017 he has also served the the Director of Ecumenical & Interfaith Affairs for the Diocese of Metuchen.
