The Sacrament of Matrimony signifies the union of Christ and the Church. It gives spouses the grace to love each other with the love with which Christ has loved His Church; the grace of the sacrament thus perfects the human love of the spouses, strengthens their indissoluble unity, and sanctifies them on the way to eternal life. Getting Engaged or Married?
Here are some guidelines:
-Are you an active and registered parishioner (using Church envelopes) of St. Mary Church? One party must be an active parishioner.
-The Church must be contacted one year in advance before any social plans are made. This is a requirement and is the responsibility of the engaged couple (not parents or relatives).
There have been many times when the reception is booked first and the wedding date or time is not available at the Church. Please contact the Church first to avoid any disappointments. Thank you.
