"Raise the Roof" Fundraiser

As you may have noticed, the church now has a new roof. No more leaking. But now that we have a new roof before the winter settles in and we had to borrow, borrow, borrow, we will now have to pay, pay, pay. So, please keep May 9, 2020, open on your calendar for a “Raise the Roof” Fundraiser Dinner Dance. It is being held at the Grand Marquis in Old Bridge. We’ll keep you posted….

A Note from St. Mary's Food Pantry / Thanksgiving Items Needed

TurkeyThe Saint Mary Food Pantry is asking for your help with donations for Thanksgiving. Here is a list of food items that are needed: pie crust, pie filling, yams, stuffing, turkeys, gravy, tea and coffee. No cranberry sauce, please. All donations are appreciated! Please place all items in a bag and leave in the back of the church before or after Masses. Thank you!.

Teachers Aides Needed

The St. Mary Religious Education Program is in need of adult aides to assist in the 1st and 3rd grades on Tuesday afternoons, from 4:30 to 6 p.m., beginning on September 17. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact John Kobiernicki at 732-721-1514.

Altar Servers Needed

Altar ServersAltar Servers are needed for all Masses – we welcome students in grade 3 and up who have made their First Communion to become a server.  Three short training sessions take place before being scheduled and new servers are always paired with veterans while they are learning.  Anyone who is interested should contact the Director of Religious Education, John Kobiernicki, at 732-721-1514 or via email at or see any priest or deacon after Mass.

Greeters Anyone wishing to greet fellow parishioners and visitors as they enter the church, or hand out bulletins as they exit after Mass are encouraged to do so. Responding in a special way to Pope Francis' visit to the United States, we especially encourage families to take part in this activity as a group. There's
no commitment, and you never know how holding the door for someone or a kind "good morning" affects someone. Anyone who would like more information may call Pat Regan at 732-727-2768.
