Thank You to All Donors!
Blood Drive:
This Sunday, January 21, 2018

It’s National Blood Donor Month and we want to take this opportunity to say thankBlood Drive you to all who donated blood in 2017. We are happy to report that we collected 137 pints of blood in 2017. Let’s set our goal for 150 pints of blood in 2018. We hope you can all help us achieve this goal. Your first opportunity will be on January 21, in the school cafeteria across the street from the church – please see flyer in this weekend’s bulletin. Again, thank YOU!

Saturday, February 3, 2018 / Informational Meeting
Viking Danube River Cruise

What a way to start the New Year! Raise your wine glasses and think about joining uCruise Ships on July 14, 2019, for an 8–day cruise (no hotel hopping) to Germany, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary. Our previous trips have been very successful with making new friends, enjoying lots of laughter, plenty of partying and whatever else comes along with an awesome group of people. Details about this trip will be available at a meeting on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at 5 p.m., in Saint Pat's Hall. Virginia Ricablanca and Father Dennis will be your hosts. If you have questions pertaining to this meeting only, please do not hesitate to contact Betty Fitzgerald at 352-729-4615.

Help Needed!
Coupons for Food ~ Baby Products ~ Pet Products

Coupons are needed! Food, baby products and pet products coupons – we use these three types of coupons to support those serving in the military. You do not need to cut the coupons; you can just leave the sheets of coupons in the marked box in the church vestibule. Thank you in advance for your support.

A Note from St. Mary's Food Pantry

PantryThe Food Pantry appreciates all that you do for those in need. Just a reminder – please do not leave food on the rectory steps or porches. ALL food should be left in the back of the church or in St. Theresa's chapel. Also, please check expiration dates. We cannot distribute expired food and must throw it out. Thank you for your cooperation and assistance.

Teachers Aides Needed

We are in need of substitute teachers for our Religious Education Program.  Classes are Tuesdays, from 4:30 – 6 p.m. and Thursdays from 6:30 – 8 p.m.  If you can help out on either of those days, please call Kevin at 732-721-1514.

Altar Servers Needed

Altar ServersAltar Servers are needed for all Masses – we welcome students in grade 3 and up who have made their First Communion to become a server.  Three short training sessions take place before being scheduled and new servers are always paired with veterans while they are learning.  Anyone who is interested should contact the Director of Religious Education at or see any priest or deacon after Mass.

Greeters Anyone wishing to greet fellow parishioners and visitors as they enter the church, or hand out bulletins as they exit after Mass are encouraged to do so. Responding in a special way to Pope Francis' visit to the United States, we especially encourage families to take part in this activity as a group. There's
no commitment, and you never know how holding the door for someone or a kind "good morning" affects someone. Anyone who would like more information may call Pat Regan at 732-727-2768.
