Saint Mary's Food Pantry

Food PantryThe Saint Mary Food Pantry is open, and we are working hard to serve our community! Saturday, December 17, is the next food pantry day in St. Pat's Hall (8:30 - 10 a.m.). We are open every fourth Saturday of every month from 8:30 - 10 a.m. Sometimes, the third Saturday, if the fourth falls on a holiday weekend. Let us help you. For emergency needs, please call us at 732-721-7418. Thank you for your support!

St. Mary's Food Pantry could use a little help with donations of baby diapers or Pull-Ups in sizes 5 and 6, please. We have plenty of the smaller sizes - thank you!

In addition, we can use your help with cereal, oatmeal, peanut butter, canned fruit and soup. We especially need cereal right now, please - we've depleted our supply and this is a staple for many of our clients.

All donations are appreciated! Please place all items in a bag and leave in the back of the church (by the American and Papal flags) before or after Masses. Thank you for your kindness and generosity!

Book Exchange
"Take a Book ... Leave a Book"

There is a “Book Exchange” box set up in our Prayer Garden next to the bench by the ramp. If you see a book you’d like to read, please help yourself. If you have a book you’d like to donate, please leave it in the box. Enjoy!

Altar Servers Needed

Altar ServersAltar Servers are needed for all Masses – we welcome students in grade 3 and up who have made their First Communion to become a server.  Three short training sessions take place before being scheduled and new servers are always paired with veterans while they are learning.  Anyone who is interested should contact the Director of Religious Education, John Kobiernicki, at 732-721-1514 or via email at or see any priest or deacon after Mass.

Greeters Anyone wishing to greet fellow parishioners and visitors as they enter the church, or hand out bulletins as they exit after Mass are encouraged to do so. Responding in a special way to Pope Francis' visit to the United States, we especially encourage families to take part in this activity as a group. There's
no commitment, and you never know how holding the door for someone or a kind "good morning" affects someone. Anyone who would like more information may call Pat Regan at 732-727-2768.
