Monday,
June 24 - Thursday, June 27
St. Mary's Rectory Roof
Fundraiser at Camillo's

There will be a fundraiser held at Camillo’s Restaurant (31 MacArthur Avenue) in Camillo'sSayreville, from Monday, June 24, through Thursday, June 27. The fundraiser covers both lunch and dinner and proceeds will benefit the roof replacement at St. Mary’s rectory. Come out to eat with your family and friends--together, we can make a difference!

Separation

The roof on our rectory building has recently been replaced. Over the years, we’ve been able to patch it here and there, but it has been approximately 40 years (if not more) since the roof was fully replaced -- patching was no longer an option. We did our research, received three estimates and the total cost of a new roof was about $35,000. We are asking everyone to please prayerfully consider helping us with this expense. You will find special envelopes dedicated to the Roof Fund in the pews. Any amount will help us! Thank you for your consideration. As always, I will keep all of you in my prayers and ask that you please remember me in yours.

Sincerely,
Fr. Dennis

A Note from St. Mary's Food Pantry

Food PantryAll are cordially invited to join us in St. Pat’s Hall on Saturdays, May 25, June 8 and 22, from 5:30 – 8 p.m., to help those in need by cutting coupons (for food, baby, pet, health/beauty items only, please) for the men and women overseas, decorating occasion cards and crocheting/knitting/looming scarves, baby blankets and lap blankets. Some of whom we serve are the patients/residents of JFK Hospital and the Veterans’ Home in Edison, the Venetian Care Center, the homeless and Pro-Life organizations. For more information, please call Natalie at 732-425-8727.

The Food Pantry appreciates all that you do for those in need. Just a reminder – please do not leave food on the rectory steps or porches. ALL food should be left in the back of the church or in St. Theresa's chapel. Also, please check expiration dates. We cannot distribute expired food and must throw it out. Thank you for your cooperation and assistance.

Greeters

Greeters Anyone wishing to greet fellow parishioners and visitors as they enter the church, or hand out bulletins as they exit after Mass are encouraged to do so. Responding in a special way to Pope Francis' visit to the United States, we especially encourage families to take part in this activity as a group. There's
no commitment, and you never know how holding the door for someone or a kind "good morning" affects someone. Anyone who would like more information may call Pat Regan at 732-727-2768.
