Prayer Garden

A Prayer Garden is being Flowercreated by the family of Kimberly DiMartino, who went to heaven in December, 2016. Before and during Kimberly's illness, she often spoke about creating a prayer garden -- a sanctuary, a place she could go to pray and meditate. Knowing Kimberly would want to share this garden with others, her family chose St. Mary's property so it may be open to the community. The Prayer Garden is a donation from the family. If anyone is interested in joining the family in their efforts, please call Angel at 732-501-5133.

Saint Mary Food Pantry / Collecting from now until next Sunday

The Saint Mary Food Pantry is in need of your assistance in providing school suppliesSchool Supplies (notebooks, pens, pencils, crayons, markers, backpacks, etc.) to give to our clients’ children before school starts. Thank you in advance for your donations. Please leave all supplies in the box in the vestibule of the church from now until next
Sunday, August 20.

Help Needed!
Coupons for Food ~ Baby Products ~ Pet Products

Coupons are needed! Food, baby products and pet products coupons – we use these three types of coupons to support those serving in the military. You do not need to cut the coupons; you can just leave the sheets of coupons in the marked box in the church vestibule. Thank you in advance for your support.

A Note from St. Mary's Food Pantry

PantryThe Food Pantry appreciates all that you do for those in need. Just a reminder – please do not leave food on the rectory steps or porches. ALL food should be left in the back of the church or in St. Theresa's chapel. Also, please check expiration dates. We cannot distribute expired food and must throw it out. Thank you for your cooperation and assistance.

Teachers Aides Needed

We are in need of substitute teachers for our Religious Education Program.  Classes are Tuesdays, from 4:30 – 6 p.m. and Thursdays from 6:30 – 8 p.m.  If you can help out on either of those days, please call Kevin at 732-721-1514.

Altar Servers Needed

Altar ServersAltar Servers are needed for all Masses – we welcome students in grade 3 and up who have made their First Communion to become a server.  Three short training sessions take place before being scheduled and new servers are always paired with veterans while they are learning.  Anyone who is interested should contact the Director of Religious Education at or see any priest or deacon after Mass.

Greeters Anyone wishing to greet fellow parishioners and visitors as they enter the church, or hand out bulletins as they exit after Mass are encouraged to do so. Responding in a special way to Pope Francis' visit to the United States, we especially encourage families to take part in this activity as a group. There's
no commitment, and you never know how holding the door for someone or a kind "good morning" affects someone. Anyone who would like more information may call Pat Regan at 732-727-2768.
