Religious Education Program Information
Seventh Graders -
If you are interested in receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation at St. Mary's Church, it requires two years of formation. All 7th grade students (public and Catholic) are required to take a confirmation exam in the Spring. It will not be necessary to attend the Religious Education Program, but you must be registered and take at least two sessions to prepare for the Confirmation exam in the Spring. Please call Religious Education Program (732-721-1514) for further details.
Snow Days or Other Emergencies: If the South Amboy School District is closed or has early dismissal due to inclement weather, St. Mary's Religious Education Program will also be closed for that day. If the weather will be bad for the evening of classes, there will be a notice on the answering machine and you will be notified by e-mail as will your child's school. Please do not call the parish rectory office. Any questions, please call Kevin Schnell at (732) 721-1514.
