of the Sick
"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the presbyters of the Church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord . . ." (Jas 5:14)
The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick can be administered to those baptized Catholics wishing to be anointed. In particular, those who may be bearing the burden of physical, mental or emotional illness, those who may be facing surgery, those experiencing the challenges of advancing age, those who may be in need of spiritual strength and renewal, or other circumstances that might make life burdensome.
Please do not wait until the last moment to call for this Sacrament. If you are in the hospital, and time is pressing, please know that each hospital has a Roman Catholic priest assigned as their chaplain. The hospital chaplain will be able to anoint you immediately.
To receive the Anointing of the Sick, please call the Parish Office.
To receive Holy Communion: if you are confined to your home, our Eucharistic Ministers are here to bring Eucharist to you. Please call the Parish Office.
